Dr. Ira Thorla Jr.
One of the founders of Louisiana Dermatology Associates, Dr. Ira Thorla, Jr. has been practicing in Baton Rouge since 1999. He specializes in surgical, cosmetic, and general Dermatology and is certified by the American Board of Dermatology. Dr. Ira Thorla, Jr. attended Louisiana State University’s School of Medicine in New Orleans, where he also completed his residency. While in Medical School, Dr. Thorla was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and is now a gratis faculty member for the Louisiana State University Department of Dermatology Residency Program. By continuing his education through the American Academy of Dermatology, Dr. Thorla makes it a point to stay current on dermatological diseases and treatments.
