You will be numbed for this procedure and feel only slight pressure. Immediately following the treatment, Dr. Dickerson will massage treated areas. You’ll be asked to continue the massage therapy five times a day over the next five days at home.
Some patients notice redness, mild swelling and tenderness at the injection sites after treatment. Minor bruising or lumps may also occur. These usually go away on their own within a week. There will likely be a slight fullness in the treated area from the water in Sculptra for at least two days after treatment.
